Tivoli.
Photos from Tivoli in Copenhagen. And no, there's no such thing as a carousel overload.

Du har sett mig gå omkring i natten här, i en gammal oåtkomlig atmosfär. Du har sett mig undra över livet. Men har du sett mig tjuvtitta på er?
The view from my window here in Copenhagen. Gosh I love this place.

Jag har varit i alla städer.
Photographer unknown (but if you know, please let me know).
When this is posted I'm sitting on an airplane on my way to Copenhagen. But don't worry, I'll be blogging from there.

Isdrottningen.
Tim Walker for British Vogue March 2009, model Caroline Trentini.
When I studied photography I was nuts about photographing fairytale characters with a twist. I did Little Red Riding Hood waiting for the wolf with a baseball bat, Snow White eating the hunter's heart and so on. Cliché, I know. But I've been thinking about a childhood book I had, a Swedish folklore story, and how I could shoot it. I just couldn't remember what it was called or what it was really about, only that I loved it. Until yesterday when Kristofer asked me what my favorite childhood stories were and I was finally forced to google it, and found it! Now I have to shoot it, because I just can't get it out of my mind.

I Köpenhamn finns allt man nånsin vill ha, snälla säg nånting som håller mig kvar.
Tomorrow Kristofer is goind to Copenhagen to work, and I'll be meeting up with him there on friday. It's been so long since I travelled anywhere at all, so I'm looking forward to it so much.

Vackra vännerna.
These last couple of weeks feels like endless partying. We've celebrated so much, we've been dancing, drinking and running aroung like crazy for what seem like a month. Maybe is was? One of the highlights was the release party for Sighsten, a book about Swedish fashion icon/designer Sighsten Herrgård. Unfortunately I didn't photograph that event, it was too crowded with fabulous people I had to talk to. (But please read the book, it's amazing!) I'm gonna take it easy now for a while. Or at least I'll try.

Jag fryser om dina händer.
Some of the best things about you:
+ When we fight, you never walk away from me.
+ You're the most unconventionally romantic person I've ever met.
+ You laugh at my jokes, even the ones that aren't really funny. And then you tease me about the unfunny ones.
+ You tell equally bad jokes.
+ You get the me in me.
+ And you smell like cinnamon and sun sweat and solitude.
Happy birthday, Kristofer, 30 years today!

I often have discussions with my friends about what to wear, or rather not knowing what to wear. And they all think I’m funny, because I don’t handle dressing myself like they do. The thing is, I have never been able to decide which style is me, because I love so many things. Like classic 50’s rockabilly, quirky Amelie Poulian dresses, grunge in all its forms, goth and so on.
When I was younger I went through all of these styles whole-heartedly, but none of them stuck because eventually I would feel like mixing it up with something else. So nowadays, what I do is I think of a character (mostly someone from a photograph, or sometimes created in my own mind) and then try to channel that look or feeling. Sometimes I feel like that for weeks or months in a row, other times it’s just for one night.
Anyways, I think it’s more important to wear exactly what you feel like wearing, to be who you want to be on that particular day, than to be fashionable. But that’s just me, I guess.

I love this (Chanel S/S RTW 201). Don't you just wanna... do an editorial?

Varje pojke, varje pojke i hela världen kan bli din.
Today I feel nostalgic. So I made this little playlist to go with my pleated skirt, the We Rule the School playlist. And yes, I was a nerd in school but like all cool nerds I thought I rocked. Enjoy, darlings.
