I wanted to show you how my year was, but I couldn't possibly show you all the photos I wanted to. So I just picked 24 ones out of about 500. They're not all the best ones, or the ones I'm most proud of, or any of that. But I think they represent my year pretty well, the travelling, the parties, the friends and the quiet times. It's been a really good year, but I have a feeling the new one will be even better (I have sooo many plans). Any regrets, my darling?

The day after Christmas we went on a roadtrip to the old limestone quarry at Furillen (I spent the holidays at Kristofer's childhood home on Gotland). It was the coldest place I've ever been to and the wind was so harsh you couldn't find any shelter from it. About ten minutes after arriving I'd lost the feeling in all my toes and my hands were shaking so furiously that I could hardly hold the camera straight. But it was extremely beautiful and I got lots of wonderful shots (I don't like photographing while wearing mittens or gloves so my hands pretty much froze to the camera, but it was worth it). Afterwards we drank coffe and eate coconut cakes in the car while defrosting our numb noses. Lovely!

Photos from Christmas eve. Sorry if I'm being a bad blogger right now, but I don't have time for posts when crossing the country to visit my scattered family. But I've been taking loads of photos and will be home soon to post 'em all. I hope y'all had a good Christmas. <3

Minns du vår blodsed, våran lag?

I love love love this editorial by my all time favorite photographer Ellen von Unwerth. Mila Jovovich and Sasha Pivovarova for Vogue Italia July 2009, it's just perfection!

Now: pre-Christmas dinner my darlings, yum.

I have such vivid memories of sitting in the hammock on the porch on Mallorca in the evenings. The cicadas and the stars, brighter than anywhere else in the world to me then. And my mom taught me this song, singing it over and over again until I got the lyrics and melody. I still know it by heart.
