Tror du att kärlek är som sångerna vi hör?

Good morning, and HAPPY HALLOWEEN everybody! You might not know this, but Halloween is my favorite holiday of the year. It's the Tim Burton-obsessed child in me, I assure you. :) Anyways, I thought I'd set the mood of the day with some super-creepy spirit photography. These were taken by a British medium called William Hope in the 1910's and 20's. Of course it's obvious, today, that these are double-exposures, but I still find them kinda scary. And it's so fascinating to think about what photography has been used for in history, what it has meant to people. Plus, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was a big fan of Hope. How cool is that?

P.S. Read more about the people in the photos, and experience more creepyness here. D.S.

Jag är också väldigt förtjust i halloween, synd att det inte firas lite mer här i sverige. Fira det som firas kan tycker jag, särskilt en skräckhögtid! Happy halloween!

You're right, it couldn't be more obvious that they're fakes, but still... So creepy! But I find old pictures often freak me out!
