I spent three hours today searching for the perfect something – anything . The perfect dress, the perfect playsuit, the perfect f-ing skirt. It’s funny how when you actually make an effort to do that, you end up finding nothing. For hours I trawled every shop I would consider reasonable, from Topshop to vintage and found absolutely nah-thing. The thing is I have to fall in love. If I don’t I’ll just end up buying something weird that I’ll never wear because it looked kinda cute in the store but doesn’t go with anything in my wardrobe. I ended up buying two pair of sheer pantyhose with a back seam, and that’s pretty much the way it always goes.

Sometimes I hate that I love clothes so much. I hate wanting imaginary dresses I can’t find or even make since I suck at sowing. Or that when I do find substitutes for my dreamed up dresses I have no money so that by the time I do, they’re sold out. Always. All things considered, I’m really pissed off right now and that’s bullshit too because I should be happy to keep the money for when that perfect playsuit actually does come along. But what if it doesn’t? I will be lost forever. Stupid world.

I used to love the movie Threesome when I was a kid. Lara Flynn Boyle was so hot, and I had a crush on Josh Charles from Dead Poets Society. But the main thing I still return to is that american college 90's fashion. So grunge and ugly it's pretty.

Som om ett första tecken på liv.

Some of the pictures from our trip this past weekend (I took loads, so there'll be more). We were sitting on the steps to Kristofer's cottage listening to the nothingness and watching an ocean of stars. When you live in the city you forget how a starry sky looks sometimes, so it was nice to be reminded. We're going back real soon.

This is an old collage I made in my room when I first moved here to Stockholm. It would make a really pretty wall paper, no?

Revenge.

My favorite photo book is Revenge by Ellen von Unwerth. More here.

I have the hands of a child. A fortune teller would probably be unable to tell me anything.

Jag kommer göra dig lycklig baby, bara vänta och se. För varje kyss du ger mig ska jag ge dig tre.

Kristofer drinking beer in the park with me and my brother this weekend when we had a spur of the moment BBQ. It was really fab, except for some hippies having a sing-a-long as the sun went down. I just don't get that kind of stuff, it freaks me out.

Sorry for the stalemate, I've been working my butt of this easter. And I left my camera with all the photos from these last couple of (amazing) days at Kristofer's, so these are some pics from October last year which I love. I long for summer now, this weekend was such a mock-summer I just can't wait anymore. I want to wear playsuits and braid my hair and be awake all night through. Oh well. Soon I guess.

This is an old factory on Kungsholmen that I pass on my morning walk. It's really beautiful but apparently it's about to be torn down and replaced by something (I asume) completely boring. I would kill to get inside and photograph before it's gone but it is hard to even get close since there's a high fence around it. Still, I love it. It's all very Londonesque, Oliver Twist and so on. Very chic.
