I usually make up stories while I work. Mostly around a thing or a garment like, in this case a dress I bought yesterday for an up-comming wedding. I once read an interview with (the great) Ellen von Unwerth where she explained that she just give her models a story and then let them act freely from it. When I have a good idea, that's how I try to work too.
