The reason I like photographing clothes is because I love molding the fabric, like giving it movement or keeping it static. I know I sound real dorky, but it's an indescribable feeling when you do it just right.

Today was a good day. I did find a beautiful dress to buy. And then I met up with Sylvia and Jonas, drank wine and discussed aggressive self-promoting. The last photos are from Sylvias lovely home and the painting was made by me while I was attending art school.

Audrey Hepburn 1958, I don't know the photographer but here is the source.
Today I'm going shopping. It's payday and I got my eyes on this real pretty dress from Reko for Topshop. Pray I find something to spend my money on, or I'll feel totally useless to society.
As you may know by now I collect views. Especially views of Stockholm, my favorite city in the world apart from NY. These photos are from the opening and the concert the other night. We had a really great time, but then again you always do when free champagne is involved, right?
I hate days like these, when nothing turns out the way you want it to. I just cam home from work. My hair is not co-operating and my make up looks all funny, not even my new favorite dress can cheer me up. I'm on my way to a bar opening, and then on to a Morrissey tribute concert, and all I can feel is: I look weird. Weird weird weird.
This Saturday was perfect in every way. Good food, wandering the streets, sunshine, sloth, beautiful friends, dancing, kissing and stumbling upon the perfect dress (see above). I hope yours was as good mine.
My name is Emily and I live in Stockholm. I'm a freelance photographer and a Fashion Studies student currently getting my bachelors degree. I love to photograph the pretty, ugly and absurd things in my everyday life. I also enjoy cherry blossom tea and the Addams Family.
Please note that all photos displayed on this blog are my property unless I'm refering to another photographer in that post. If you would like to feature any of my work ask first and always link back to this blog. Thank you!
