Remember that secret little photoshoot I did last week? It was for Emma Lavelle's wonderful blog, Kisses and Cross Stitches, which turned 2 years this week! She asked me and a whole bunch of great bloggers if we would all contribute with one post on the theme "What I did on my birthday". Today my post will be up, so please go check out my story about a very special birthday.

Happy birthday!

Dumma kanin, tricks är för barn!

Hey everybody! Don't forget to watch Veckans Kanin at 10 p.m. tonight if you're in Sweden. I was in the audience for this taping, and it was so much fun!

Och jag låtsas hellre hela livet för att behålla det här.

They've issued a storm warning here in Stockholm today, and so far this morning we've already had one power outage. I'm off to a meeting now, but I'll hurry home later to burrow up with Kristofer. We plan to eat Lucia buns and have hot choco infront of several bad movies instead of walking in the blizzard outside. Lovely.

Jag ska göra dig till min.

Good things right now:

+ perfect green home made guacamole on veggie burgers.
+ hanging out with friends watching the taping of Kristofer's TV show.
+ long morning walks.
+ important, secret meetings.
+ planning Christmas at home, just he and I.
+ dreaming of New York.
+ the frost, covering the rooftops I see when I pull up my blinds in the morning.
+ tiny porcelain bambies (always).

What are your good things right now?

Är ni med mig, systrar, bröder; dansa för att hjärtat blöder!

So yesterday Sylvia, Jules, Ingrid and I went out to my all time favorite burlesque club, the Hootchy Kootchy Club, and the theme was Dia de Los Muertos. It was so much fun!!!

Sylvia and I always manage to get one shot like this of each-other every time we go out, ha ha.

I felt so beautiful (it is, once again, the Tim Burton kid in me).

The gang! I love this photo.

My darling Ingrid. I called her The Galliano Vision all night.

And everybody's favorite couple, Sylvia and Jules. <3

At the club there were lots of great little shows. So inspiring.

Like this striptease, where the girl danced for her "dead husband" (a skull) and ended the show by pouring his ashes all over herself. Weird, morbid and hilarious. I especially loved the way the painted skeleton hands on her tits instead of wearing pasties.

It was a great night, one of the best nights out I've had in a long time. Thanks for dancing with me, darlings!

P.S. I'm sorry for not answering all your comments, I haven't had time and I want to do it properly. I'll try to do it later today. Thanks for being so sweet. D.S.

Photo from my morning walk yesterday.

I've spent all day studying (eg. hanging out) with my darling friend Ingrid, having afternoon tea. It's been a good day, and I just recieved some great news. I can't tell you yet, it'll have to be a secret for a little longer. But I'll tell you another secret about myself to make up for it. My secret is: I would love to be friends with Rachel Zoe, just because I love the way she says "BAH-NANAS".
Do you have any secrets to get off your chest?

Snälla ring pojkarna, snälla ring pojkarna. Säg till dem att ta på sig sina dansskor nu.

Today I've been doing a little photoshoot of my own. You'll get to see the result in a couple of days...

Bang bang min baby sköt mig ned.

And here's my new hairstyle. Or really, one of my regular ones, I've just been waiting for my hair to grow long before I cut the bangs. My dream, for so long, has been long, flowy Jessica Rabbit hair. I feel like I'm getting there, just like... ten more centimeters, heehee.

P.S. Thanks so much for all your great comments yesterday, you're THE BEST. .D.S

Rapunzel kanske.

Oh my, I think I got a little carried away here... Anyways, I'm getting my hair cut and dyed again today, like I always do once every sixth week (nothing diffent though). And that got me thinking about how many different hair styles I've sported during the last two years. So here's a little collage of some of them. I really prefer myself as a red head. Do you have a favorite?
