Blåbär och kanel.

One afternoon at Fårö, when the rain had finally stopped and we were bored of playing Yatzy, we put on our wellington boots and went out into the woods. We found the perfect blueberry spot and we picked two liters of the stuff. When I got back home I made bluberry crumble with cinnamon and vanilla custard, just like the kind we used to eat when I was a kid. It was soo yummie! And then we played some more Yatzy.

I' so happy you guys like the new layout of the blog, yay! Yesterday was spent on the couch with new episodes of Jersey Shore and good old comfort food. Today I'm off to meet up with my big brother, he's gonna help me create my new online portfolio. I hope your day is exactly what you want it to be.

Himlen blöder.

One evening at Fårö Kristofer and I walked down to watch the most amazing sunset down by the lake behind the house. I have honestly never seen anything like it. It was as if the sky was bleeding and the woods appeared as if they were on fire. Skies like these makes me understand completely why writers and film makers come here for inspiration.

Okay, so this is the "new" blog! I'm very happy with the way it turned out and I really hope you guys like it too! I still have some finishing touches to do, and I'm going to sort all blog posts in to more catagories so you can find what your looking for more easily. En kväll som andra kvällar.

Today has been a day of phone calls and meetings and important paper signing. So fucking boring. The rain is pouring down outside my kitchen window, and I have lit candles and put them all around the apartment, building a nest for myself. Now I'm gonna cook fish soup for me and a very hard working writer man, while listening to this.

Jag samlar drömmar i fickan.

On our second day at Fårö, we took our bikes and went on an adventure to the English Cemetary, where tweny English soldiers were buried in 1854.


We bicycled through the woods, occasionally stopping by a lake to cool off.


Hey guys!


The sun came out for a little while, like a tiny white marble at the bottom of a pool of water.


The cemetary is located in a pasture, and next to it we found this old house. It's called "lammgift", and it's a house for the sheep to sleep in and for storing straw. This kind of houses you see all over the island, and they always makes me think of the Shire in Lord of the Rings.


The actual cemetary is just one big tombstone. Someone had left a rose for the soldiers on top of it.


We walked on down to the beach, which reminded me even more of something out of Lord of the Rings.


For once, the ocean was very calm and quiet.


So we sat down and just talked for a while.

The I ran around and shot lots of detail photos, like this one.


I just stopped to do some writing.


And then storm clouds started to gather at the horizon, so we started back home. When we got there, we baked brownies, played Yatzi and got a little drunk. So, all in all it was a very good adventure.
